Most think that the options concerning God are many and confusing, however it really isn’t that complicated. Either there is a supreme Being or there isn’t one. If there is no God, then you will need to learn to live as a cosmic mistake. This world in all its massive complexity and beauty is just the universe’s lottery winner. If that just doesn’t seem right to you, you agree with the vast majority on the planet. The next question sounds like, “Is God active or is He sitting passively on some eternal throne?” Take some time to review your life and ask the question if you have seen any acts of God, any prayers answered, or has your life been protected at any time? If you have seen nothing, ask God to show himself to you. We believe that he rewards those that seek him. Church on the Rock is a community of people who have met this active God, walk with him daily in a relationship and want to share that experience. Good! “Church” is an unique word in the Bible that really means, “the gathering.” It is when God’s people gather together to worship, be fed spiritually, be connected with others, to reach out to the community. It is God’s intent that all His people of all ages to regularly gather together to optimize their gifts in serving this world. Our faith was never meant to be lived in private, but connected to others where someone is praying for you, and has your back. In fact the strength of love in our gathering is one of the unique features of being a part of God’s family. Check out our pictures and our beliefs or listen to part of a message on line. If we seem like the right fit, come visit us any Sunday morning. Your first experience with us will be relaxed, refreshing and worth your time. That is the only membership that really counts. However, some people are ready to partner together to work for the kingdom of God through a local church. Our partners are people who consider Church on the Rock their responsibility and work together for our gathering and our wider community. Our partners are those for whom the leaders take spiritual responsibility and pray for regularly.
