Dreams
We have purchased acreage on Upper James (across from Sharples Nursery). Our dream is to build a place where college students can hang out and study with a coffee, a place where kids from the community can come and play soccer, a place to run community recovery groups. We are planning to build a green building where nature and beauty are a part of the experience. On our land we will have places of spiritual retreat, a house for international interns, and an outdoor amphitheater for summer concerts. In other words, this is more than a church building and a parking lot. We are here to be a light for to community, a city on the hill. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16)
To raise a group of children in this world out of poverty and into the arms of Jesus. We have a partnership with a local church in the Dominican Republic (El Circulo) through whom we are responsible for the education, feeding and clothing of 200 children in the impoverished community of Cotui. Our little section of this globe.
To help as many high school students as possible on the Hamilton Mountain to graduate through our tutoring programs and for them to know this love comes from the hand of God.
To wrap our arms around the thousands of children on the Hamilton Mountain who don’t yet know Jesus as their Savior through our Kids Adventure Camp and Kids Adventure Club.
To keep and transform Canada’s next generation by providing local-churches with excellent pastors, youth and children workers who will succeed in their first years of ministry and beyond. We are building an intern dorm as a mentoring hub for young men and women studying to enter local church ministry and build into them spiritual depth, ministry skills and a love for the local church.
To create a “thin place” every week where people can meet God for the first time and grow to make a difference in their world.
